Ouachita Outdoors is located in West Central Arkansas, about 60 miles from Little Rock. Hot Springs is the gateway to the Ouachita National Forest.

Our summers are hot, but the rest of the year can be quite cool. Our mountains are beautiful, and except for an very rare snowfall, hiking and backpacking can be enjoyed most of the year. When summers are too hot and dry, thats when all of us go to the area lakes to get cooled off.

Hot Springs is surrounded by three man made lakes: Ouachita, Hamilton, and Catherine, hence came the name "Tri-Lakes Area". Also Ouachita is pronounced Wa chi tau. Don’t worry, nobody gets its pronounciation right, much less spells it correctly.
